Me apasiona ayudar a las personas a alcanzar su máximo potencial. Como firme defensor del concepto de liderazgo sostenible, puedo comprender el dolor de los empleados que no pueden rendir al máximo debido a la dificultad de transferir conocimientos. En mi puesto anterior en marketing de productos para un simulador de pagos muy complejo, me enfrenté a la tarea de superar esta brecha de conocimientos de forma regular. La industria de los pagos es una industria en la que la barrera de entrada es alta, y no debería ser así porque obstaculiza el crecimiento de todos.
Mi logro más preciado en mi carrera es el desarrollo de un programa formalizado de educación en pagos para Sudáfrica, que ha convertido a más de cien estudiantes con experiencia en TI en expertos en pagos capaces de operar con soltura nuestro simulador de pagos. Esto fue posible gracias a muchas otras experiencias educativas, técnicas o orientadas a procesos.
Como soy un INTJ en el modelo Myers-Briggs, puede estar seguro de que el contenido de mis cursos está completamente pensado y tiene en cuenta todos los aspectos necesarios para alcanzar los objetivos. ¿Quiere saber más sobre mis credenciales?
Durante mis 10 años de sólida experiencia técnica en la industria de pagos con tarjeta, trabajé en desarrollo y control de calidad para los dos principales fabricantes de tarjetas con chip, Gemalto y Oberthur. También ocupé un puesto de analista de seguridad para productos EMV en un laboratorio, lo que me proporcionó un profundo conocimiento del funcionamiento interno de las tarjetas de pago.
Mi puesto más largo fue en Acquirer Systems, una pequeña empresa que creó el mejor y más completo simulador de pagos del mercado (ahora pertenece a UL). Durante ese tiempo, ocupé casi todos los puestos que se pueden cubrir en una pequeña empresa, haciendo desarrollo de software, control de calidad, atención al cliente, y luego pasé a consultoría, preventa y educación. Construí una biblioteca completa de profundos conocimientos técnicos en todos los aspectos de las transacciones de pago con tarjeta, desde la tarjeta en el bolsillo hasta la autorización de los bancos.
Además, estoy plenamente cualificado para los puestos que he ocupado hasta ahora y totalmente preparado para los retos del futuro. Tengo un máster en ingeniería de una universidad francesa y un MBA ejecutivo del Trinity College de Dublín.
